Check out my site. If need be, let me know and I'll personally help and or do you site of you. For a Fee that is. My fee is very high.

How does FREE sound for a fee?

Seriously, I have alot of experience, but I have stopped doing it for money. I do it for fun now. I do have a good size list of references, I can PM you.

Even if you just want advise and tips, just let me know.

I'll be glad to help.

One tip before you do anything. Go with, Go Daddy! For buying and hosting! This is the best place to get your domain from. I get all of my website addresses from them. They are very Helpful! I've had customer service issues with alot of others. Everything from not being open, to being on hold FOREVER! I do all my websites I build from them.

Good Luck,

If you want to do a web site where you really dont need to own or have much knowledge on any web authoring software and you want your own domain name and dont want a web site that is massive, then go have a look at https://www.godaddy.com/ the online software is fairly simple to use (a bit to simple for me but i wont complain when it was given to me) and they have great support. They have different deals on domain names, online hosting and web creating packages.

I created my website using Godaddy and you can have a look at what you can basically do at my website http://www.averyeddyxmas.com, im using the basic package which gives you 5 pages to build. If you havent done this before there will be still a learning curve for you but it just may be easier for you. You can also use other options like Google Site that help make putting together a web site easier or if your more advanced you may want to use one of the software authoring packages out there from Microsoft, Adobe and others, there are many options you can take.

Good to see another Aussie joining in the fun, where abouts in OZ are you?

As for the Jingle Bells Techno version sequence, give me a PM and ill send it to you, its 64 channels and was my very first song that i sequenced with LOR, and still one of my favorite songs which ill revamp for this years upgrade. You find that when the song starts and then goes into the broken record part you see people start to play with their car radios thinking there is something wrong then the techno section starts and they start laughing realising its just the song. Its a great song for sequencing

I use GoDaddy as well. They are probably a little more expensive than some other hosting sites, but their customer services certainly makes up for it. I actually built my site from scratch as well. I also host an online store which is where you can buy my COOP boards. Behind the scenes I have several databases setup through GoDaddy and I have it setup to automatically backup the data on that server. GoDaddy does it all for you. The best part of their customer service....THEY ARE AMERICAN! That's right, they don't switch you over to an Indian based company to answer your questions and they don't even understand what you are saying. Every helpful! ( I also liked that Danica Patrick calls me personally every now and than...HAHAHA)

I have 2 sites with them....

and for a volunteer agency I am a part of...

I have been doing web design for over three years now, some for fun, some fore free, some for pay. I have worked with HTML, CSS, Java script, and PHP, dynamic html, ajax, xml, rss, mysql, flash application integration, forum site integration, chat site integration, maintaining and creating custom content management systems.

I code every thing by hand using a text editor with syntax highlighting. I have used note pad just a bit to basic for my liking, since I can just code some thing more use full my self.

If you are using a mac I would recommend notepad ++, which is free and open source, if you use mac or linux I can make other suggestions.

http://www.w3schools.com/ is a great site for learning how to code.

I use Go Daddy for all my web registrations. My sites are hosted through coaster-net.com which has a dedicated sever with http://www.surpasshosting.com/ we have been with them for years and never had any issues with them. I have worked on projects that have used Go Daddy for hosting with out issues.

I will say this If you hosting compony offers to give you a domain too, besides Go Daddy don't do it. While theoretically you should be able to switch the compony that you have your domain with, it almost never works. Using a domain register like Go Daddy means you can use any one you like for hosting. If you don't like your current host you can just move to another one with out loosing the domain.

If you have any questions feel free to ask.
