Donny M. Carter Posted February 27, 2010 Posted February 27, 2010 WHAT DOES THIS MEAN? THE SOFTWARE UPDATE NOW ALLOWS 512 CIRCUITS INSTEAD OF 256. I READ THE INFO AND DO NOT UNDERSTAND. THANKS FOR ANY CLARIFICATION.

Donny M. Carter Posted February 27, 2010 Author Posted February 27, 2010 THANKS. I AM JUST STARTING MY RESEARCH ON DMX. HOPING TO DO SOME COOL STUFF WITH IT IN THE FUTURE.
Ponddude Posted February 27, 2010 Posted February 27, 2010 DMX supports a maximum of 512 channels and 32 devices on one single network. If you have more than that you will need to create more than one DMX network, meaning more than one iDMX.
Tim Fischer Posted February 27, 2010 Posted February 27, 2010 Just a gentle suggestion - please don't type in all caps. It makes posts harder to read, and comes off as "shouting".Thanks!
Donny M. Carter Posted February 27, 2010 Author Posted February 27, 2010 no problem. i'm just happy i can type enough to get words on a page!!
