Dennis Warren
Hello, My Current Version 2.6.2 and even older version 2.4.10 when I first notice this problem.I'm sequencing a song by starting with Play Range > Full Sequence. Then when I switch to Viewable window the music is no longer lined up or in sync with the lights or marks I just added. This is a new musical I started and in the past I've had the same problom with existing sequences. This is very painful...Any ideas how to fix or work around this?Thx
George Cotton
Check the bitrate for the mp3. To stay in sync for viewing and replay, it needs to be 128kb/s. Many are VBR (variable bit rate) and this is not the same as CBR (constant bit rate). This causes many sync problems. The bitrate can be changed with a number of audio editing programs such as Audacity.
Dennis Warren
Yep... Opening the mp3 in Audacity and saving back out again fixed the problem. I found a few others that had the same problem and every one of them where downloads from Amazon.Thx. :]
Dennis Cherry
All of the Amazon MP3 downloads are VBR.I run all my songs through Audacity before using, saves from getting headaches.I always check the amplitude of each song.EFFECTS>AMPLIFY>PREVIEW>OK. Will make the song 0db level. Do not like to have different audio levels.
