Guest wbottomley
All of my spokes are on 3/4" PVC.The big one is 12ft diameter and uses 32 channels, http://www.vimeo.com/6510286.The small ones are 6ft diameter and use 8 channels. I have a post made so I can attach them to. Those posts are made to streamline the setup.

I was able to buy it at my Home Depot in the electrical department.Have you ever thought of using a base like this portable mega tree. I made smaller ones for the light sticks. They held up in 50MPH winds with no movement. one was not even tied down. Its about a 1 foot by 1 foot. about 40lbs I used 1/2 inch electrical conduit then sleeved over the 1" pcv. As far as storage I put everything that does not have lights under the deck and put the lattice back up. I found this year I had more stuff packed into less space or should I say better hidden spaces. Attached files
