eldoradoboy Posted November 11, 2009 Posted November 11, 2009 ive noticed while editing sequences when I use play range visible screen that my lights are ahead of my music in the sequence editor... yet when I use play full sequence I have no issues...this trouble seems to go away when I use a wave file instead of MP3.. is it bad that I source my MP3 files to 320kbits rather than 128 or 160 like a lot of people do?whats the best solution? edit with WAV files?-Christopher
cmoore60 Posted November 11, 2009 Posted November 11, 2009 it is best to have your MP3 at 128 constant bit rate...it will fix your problem.Chuck
John Posted November 11, 2009 Posted November 11, 2009 If you need to edit your wav or mp3 file and save it as a 128k bit mp3, the best free audio editor available is Audacity. It's from the Source Forge community and many of us here use it.If you download Audacity, you will also need to download the Lame mp3 Encoder HERE. Be sure to read the directions at the top of the page to use the encoder with Audacity.
ericnagel Posted November 12, 2009 Posted November 12, 2009 Just wanted to say thanks - between saving my mp3 in 128-bit and disabling Windows sound features (see http://lightorama.mywowbb.com/forum90/19966.html ), everything is now in sync
