civileng68 Posted November 4, 2009 Posted November 4, 2009 I read the sticky and this may or may not be the same issue so I'm posting it here. When I'm editing and I start the track from the very beginning all is well. Timing is perfect. However in editing, when I just start from a random location to test the new edits I've made it seems "off". Typically the music is a good second ahead of the actual show. Also, when viewing the wave form it's off. My lights are still in correct timing with the wave view but the sound is off. So, the sound is actually off from the wave view.Make sense? Anyone have any solutions?
civileng68 Posted November 4, 2009 Author Posted November 4, 2009 sorry to post this. It's been answered in another thread a few pages back.
Tracy West Posted March 14, 2010 Posted March 14, 2010 I am having this same problem. Where was the answer to this question? It is very frustrating to me. I cannot move from section to section without the sound being off a good second or so.
George Simmons Posted March 14, 2010 Posted March 14, 2010 Two options:1) Convert your music files to .wav format and use that for sequencing.2) If you want to use mp3s, you have to make sure they're constant bit rate. If the mp3 has a variable bit rate it needs to be re-encoded to constant bit rate.
