Show Editor - Music and animation interspersed?

Recommended Posts

In my show I'd like to run a couple music sequences and then an animation sequence with no sound, then a couple more music sequences, then a different animation sequence, etc. It seems this isn't possible?

It seems the Show Editor, once you finally get to the music sequences, only wants to schedule music sequences! What's up with that?

I tried to create a music sequence with no media file and that doesn't seem to work either.

Do I need to create MP3 files of the correct length and adjust their volume to zero so I can intersperse animation between music? That won't be too hard but I think I'm missing something obvious.

TIA

If you want the animation sequences to play interspersed with the musical ones (instead of at the same time), place them in the musical tab. It's not obvious, but you can add .las files to the music tab.

Now I see it. When you select "the big plus" to add a file it shows music sequences. But you can select "animation sequences" or "all sequences" where it says "Files of Type"

I was about to edit the .lss file but there's no need for that.

Thank you very much
