need help with sound

for the sound in my shows i use a car stereo to get the sound to the speakers
what can i use in place of the car stereo to get the sound from my mp3 director to the speakers
i cant use a home stereo most of my shows are done on a log truck in a parade so it needs to be small with a line in jack and volume control

any automotive amp that has RCA inputs should work. Just get a cable with a 1/8 mini plug on one end and rca jacks on the other end
