Posted October 10, 2009 Share Posted October 10, 2009 Have upgraded show computer, old HP Omnibook, to v2.4.8It will play a sequence and control the hardwareI try to edit a sequence and save the file the message is:Error Saving FileError saving file... do you want to try to save to another file name?Detail: ActiveX component can't create object.I also can not save to another file name.Any help would be appreciated. I am sure this is a windows issue, since my desktop running Vista has no problem like this after the 2.4.8 update.Thank you for your timeFrank A. If you can save as a different name, one issue was having the file open in excel as part of a power calc spreadsheet, resulting in the file being locked from other access.If you are unable to save as a different name, there may be a windows component missing.
