Denny
From reading the forums, I know several of you have been using the Windows 7RC. My computer is running Vista 64. It's a quad core with 8 gigs of ram. I use it to sequence LOR, edit videos, and use the media center for access to music, videos, etc. throughout the house. Is there any advantage or benefits to upgrade to Windows 7?
Gary Levelius
I know Windows 7 is supposed to be considerable faster than Vista and they're totally reworked the UAC (User Access Control) portion. I have it running on 7 here but I know I've seen people having problems that I have yet to encounter. Unfortunately, the "Your Mileage May Vary" statement has to apply here If you plan to run Wondows 7, I'd suggest a machine in the middle to high end class. Don't cut corners on hardware, especially CPU, memory and video capability. The machine you said you have should really scream with Windows 7.-Gary-
