93KHJ Posted March 16, 2009 Share Posted March 16, 2009 I get the following when I try to use the new version software with the sequence editor,error 1931 installer service can not update the system file c:/winntsystem32.dll because the file is protected by windows.So how do you unprotect it? I've never encountered this before.Everything was working fine before Christmas and I built all my sequences on this computer. I have tried doing an uninstall and reinstall and it still does not work.I downloaded ver 2.1.6 and the editor works but I still got the same error message while upgrading. Or just when you installed?If the former, does the Sequence Editor work otherwise?If the latter, is it when you install LOR 1, or when you install LOR 2 on top of it?In any case, what operating system are you using?Thanks.
