BadSCR
I am isolating the "Trigger Coil" in the strobe light and useing a Optocoupler to trigger it. I can touch the wire to the Soder point on the "Trigger Coil" and the strobe will fire.Between the Wire and the "Trigger Coil" I have 240Vdc.I need Help.I need A Optocoupler that can handle 240V dc?I think this one would work. -klb-
I keep thinking I should look into things like this:http://store.towerlighting.com/Merchant2/merchant.mv?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=01&Product_Code=OPTIGEFL-75With a 10V DC trigger, the question is if that trigger circuit is isolated from ground/neutral. If so, these could probably be triggered from a LOR DC card...
Robin
Guys those prices are a little high. Check out Cheap Lights or even Guitar Center, also PSL has some decent prices.
Frank Farmer
I would not recommend buying anything from startlight and magic co., I ordered a flame projector from them last year. It arrived without a manual and badly damaged. They will not return my phone calls or emails. They no longer have phone support either. I got my money back from the CC company, but I still have a broken flame projector.Frank
