I have tried useing Audacity but when I use the record button I get no volume. Is there a trick that I am not reading or just can not see it. DownTown Posted December 9, 2008 Share Posted December 9, 2008 Mike - I have used a cable that runs from the audio out jack to the microphone in jack, and then use Audacity to record from the microphone input. Texan78 Posted December 9, 2008 Share Posted December 9, 2008 What I do and it works like a charm is go to the site below and enter the URL of the video and it rips it and saves it to my computer....http://www.keepvid.com/The download AoA Audio Extractor. When you have it installed open the video file in AoA Audio Extractor and rip the audio and save it has a mp3 or wav file. The you can open it in Audacity and normalize it.That is what I do and it works great and just takes me couple mins to rip it all and save it.
