Tim Fischer
Normally when you paste the same motion effect next to an existing one, they merge to become one long effect. Sometimes that's what you want, sometimes that isn't. For example, on "once per duration" effects, I want to repeat that same effect over and over, and merging breaks that. In the past, my workaround was to create a second effect, change one parameter slightly, not enough for anyone to notice, and alternate between the two. But that isn't working anymore for some reason... Currently on 6.2.16 (I need to update I know). Help?
Don
Put the effect on a 2nd ME row. Works in 6.2.18 ... and I assume many versions before that.
Tim Fischer
Ah, good idea. I'm still wrapping my head around using multiple rows. Thanks.
Steven
Using multiple rows also lets you start the second effect slightly before the first effects ends, which may result in a smoother transition.
