NOT about Christmas --------14,000 BTU

I thought i'd post this problem that i'am having when i use my 2-- 14,000 BTU window air conditioners one upstairs the other downstairs, basement door is closed what is happening when they are both on i'm getting negative air pressure i have an oil fired furnace  and it is drawing the  smell of oil through the house{ only when they are on ] any solutions what i can do thank you

We had this issue with a whole house attic fan and an oil burner that also was the water heater.

Open more windows (we pulled cool basement air up thru the house).

Window A/C may have an Exhaust setting (might be a damper). DON't use that
