Wireless link question

Does anyone know if one can use more than one wireless link in a system? For example, one pair to get out of the house to the front yard and another pair to bridge across the driveway? Or can I set up one transmitter in the house and then just two receivers?

One transmitter can send to numerous receivers. The only reason I could see for a second transmitter is if you were trying to reach very long distances, then you could daisy chain a second transmitter into the controller that is 1/4 mile from the computer/first transmitter.
