Lights with no music

Recommended Posts

Okay, Dec. 1st and still trying to figure out this program. Especially difficult as I've never used and IBM before. Can't even get a song into the LOR folder under Audio?? Wished LOR would have software compatible with the MAC.

So to simplify, thinking of just having the lights dance (so to speak). Is it possible to create a sequence with no music? If so, how?

Want to start small even though I have two controllers sitting in front of me. What a waste for this year but want to have something up and running.

Any advice is welcome.

In the Sequence Editor, click File, New, Animation Sequence.

Then you can select your "blinky effects" and not worry about music. You could do a two or three minute "blinky" sequence, and just let it repeat over and over this year.

Edit: This would also give you a chance to experiment and learn what the different effects do and look like. Then it will be easier when you do start adding in the music.
