Any Extra Strobes For Sale

Hello all,

I've been looking... well more like scouring the internet for months to try and get strobes similar to the Darryl Brown Xenon versions, but it appears I'm about 20 years late on that purchase. I have a handful of the original ones with individual wire-sets that have held up remarkably well, but trying to add a handful more without completely changing over to a different style. I did order a batch from The Christmas Light Emporium last week and just don't love the flash rate, output, etc., and the fact that I have to hack apart or custom make a bunch of C9 style strands to make these units work. I'm willing to accept the last part though if I can just get something more inline with the output / rate of the old style.

Anyways apologies for he long winded explanation, does anyone have suggestions on where to pick up 20-30 units? I would also gladly purchase someones used strobes if they were willing to part with them.... :)

Good luck on finding Xenon strobes.  Everything I find today, especially new, are all L E.D. strobes now.😟

Are these the ones that would have been available about 2005-2007 time period it sounds like ? If so, I have quite a few that I was given last year by a friend. I believe they are the screw into c9 socket version though but I do believe they came from Darryl. I planned to use some of them, I just wasn't entire sure how many just yet. If you can give me a chance to sort through more stuff, i can let you know if you would be interested?  Were the new ones you got LED or Xenon??

Those are the ones. They just had the best output and strobe rate... Unfortunately I get why we are all moving away from them Indoor --> Outdoor, water issues, heavy burnout rates, just a heavy jump from the Xenon costs to the LED versions. That said, I can 100% wait and no immediate rush, just wanting to putting some feelers out and is if anyone has a box in a corner collecting dust. 🤣 I am for sure interested!

This was my latest purchase.... Again not super stoked about them, but they aren't terrible either. Xenon output is comparable but the strobe rate is for sure slower. The LED output is a bit less but the strobe rate is a bit closer to the Xenon on the flip side I got 4 different ones and the rates seem to vary a bit between the units. I guess that is the manufacture intention to give a more random effect.

I have a box of strobes you can have (just pay shipping).  I have moved to the SuperSparks and no longer use my old style C9 ones.  When I get home I will take a pic and send it to you.

Did you get your strobe need taken care of? I apologize I didn't respond back after some were offered up by another member.

Good Afternoon to you sir! We did get a handful for this year as Kurt was amazingly gracious and had some extras that he passed along. I also bought some from https://thechristmaslightemporium.com but would happily add to my pile for next year if you are getting rid of some still.
