How Does One Add New Controller to an Exisiting Sequence?

I would think this would be a fairly simple process, but how do I add additional controller(s) to an existing sequence? I have a new unit created in Previews on the existing sequence, but how does it actually get imported into the sequence? Thank you for the help in advance. Am I starting in the wrong place?

OK. I think I got it figured out. I needed to open (double-click) the Preview of the existing sequence and add the controller from there.

What i do is add my props to my current view in one sequence.  Either Append items to view on view menu or Insert preview props and groups from an existing prop.  Then once you have it set, export the grid (grid configuraiton from the view menu and then export).  From there, any other sequence you need to update, you can import that grid definition into.

Yes, you MUST first add the new controller to the Preview being used (or a new preview and then assign the new preview to each sequence.  Then you can add the new props to any custom Views as TexasLights said.  can't add them to the View until the new prop or props are in the Preview.
