Attaching star to 16x25 tree

Any tips for attaching a star topper to the tree? I have the LOR 16x25 tree and the 18" star topper but wasn't sure the best way to attach the star to the tree pole.

I saw where some people zip tie conduit or PVC in the clamp and put that on the pole, but how do you keep the star from spinning.

Any tips are appreciated.

Depending on your topper material you can use coro to build a 3 side frame around the base and then a 4th piece in the back and zip tie.

if you do this correctly it will not move.

If you drill a hole or two through the pole and run a bolt through the hole, that gives you an attachment point that can't rotate.
