Firesticks vs. Icicles when making pixel stakes in Preview

I have a 20 of the 5 pixel Peace/Pixel stakes.

Now creating preview for the prop in S6.

I used the Icicle prop and adjusted it for 20 drops of 5 pixels each. Seems to work fine.

Then I downloaded the official LOR pixel stakes props and it uses individual firesticks.

Sure looks like the results are the same in the preview... except making the props with icicles was a lot quicker and easier to tweak.

I'm concerned I'm missing something not using firesticks.  Should I be worried?
