Trying to add a prop but I cannot add any superstar effects to it in sequencer

have an existing show for our float, 4 singing elements, one 16/100 tree, trying to add a 8x100 tree but in the sequencer I cannot add superstar effect. Basically want to mirror the larger 16x100 tree. not working. I also don't see it in the preview.

can anyone assist me? 

Willing to have you remote in or whatever.
