Look how much the software has grown....

The post below is from nearly 16 years ago. Back in the day there wasn't an easy way to change the timing of a sequence.

Read through the thread below and realize how far this software has come.

I wasn't in LOR or anything back then, not until 2012 for me. Tech changes and usually for the better. Back in the 80's, I was creating programs on IBM cards, paper tape and manually entering internal cpu commands via front panel switches. Then we upgraded to mag tape! So even with the years I've been with LOR's software, I've seen lots of changes just like everyone here has and it's almost always gotten better! BTW, supposedly the visualizer "might" be coming back in S6. Will have to wait and see of course.

I started in 2012 with a 16 channel show and was blown away.

I started my landscape lighting "show" in 2011 with about 25 channels.  Added a Christmas animation only show in 2012 with an additional 1,803 channels.  When I converted the Christmas show to musical in 2014 it around 3,500 channels.

For software, I downloaded 2.9.4, and printed the entire manual to read during a road trip.  When I got back, S3 had been released, so I never used 2.9.4.  Added SuperStar for Christmas 2012, and still primarily sequence in SuperStar.  Thank you Brian!

Started with 16 channels in Oct 2010 using S2. S3 came soon after. Boy, do I miss just having 16 channels to deal with. Went to dumb rgb in 2011, shouldn't have because that lasted just one year before pixels beckoned. Still have some of the  dumb strips somewhere in there original packaging. Had pixels, (not strips), ever since.

Fast forward to 2022, 4 versions later and a lot more than 16 channels
