k6ccc
1/2 inch aluminum U channel. I wanted it to be fairly light weight because the singing trees are hanging from my eves.

hasslerk
Mine are simple 2"x4" boxes, painted flat black. My big Christmas tree uses the same stand-alone frame support as my halloween pumpkin, since both props are the same size. The props stay attached to their frames, I just swap them on the support like changing a picture on the wall. Even the wiring harness and controller remain the same. My small Christmas trees are also 2"x4", but no stand-alone supports as they sit on the facia of our porch and are held by rope to the porch railings.
Wayne K
I used PVC and made a square frame each tree and then made a second frame to support the 3 trees. Then I winch them up with all of the cords on them and hang in place. I also done the same thing to my 4th one which hangs around the corner. You can see in some of my videos where I hung them on the house : http://www.buscochristmas.com/Videos.html http://www.buscochristmas.com/Singing trees/IMG_3953.JPG http://www.buscochristmas.com/Singing trees/IMG_3954.JPG http://www.buscochristmas.com/Singing trees/IMG_3955.JPG http://www.buscochristmas.com/Singing trees/IMG_3956.JPG http://www.buscochristmas.com/Singing trees/IMG_3957.JPG http://www.buscochristmas.com/Singing trees/IMG_3958.JPG http://www.buscochristmas.com/Singing trees/IMG_3959.JPG http://www.buscochristmas.com/Singing trees/IMG_3960.JPG Edited October 15, 2022 by Wayne K
