ArmyDogg
(noob question) I purchased some RGB square pixels and want to mount them under my eves, they have a hole for a nail and was wondering what nail anyone else has used. Thank you ArmyDogg
Mr. P
Personally I would zip-tie the lights to 1/2 inch pvc and mount under the eaves with pvc clips. This way if you ever have to take them down for any reason, such as painting or repairs, you can take them down as a whole unit. I use ribbons under my eaves and they are mounted to pvc pipe. They stay up year round as I use them for other things but when I painted my house two years ago it took 20 minutes to take them down and another twenty to put them back up.
~DOC~
I second Mr. P. Forget the nail hole. Those holes are almost worthless. Ziptie to both sides of the pixel on 1/2 pvc and your golden. My neighbors have said many times they cannot hardly see my lights. Good clean look and easy to remove.
