Pixel stakes in preview

Has anyone done Pixel stakes?

If so how did you build the preview

since no one answered, will explain what i did.  It works, but may be other ways.   LOR has a firestick prop so I used this as a base.   I created one with 5 pixels, sized it, and then copied it 39 times for a total of stick01 to stick40.   I then created a variety of group effects, combining then for specific effects, but also odds and evens and Row 1 to 5.   The one thing I never really had working as well as I wanted with any preview-based effects because in the yard, they sit 3D.   The various motion effects rows are what I use the most.

That is similar to what I did, but  have not really done any sequencing for the most part...

That's similar to what I did except I also use the pixel level sequencing on the prop as well as motion effects. You can still get some nice effects from a good old fashioned chase.
