commwagg24 Posted December 4, 2021 Posted December 4, 2021 So I was trying to do a test light up the other night and it worked fine with the second box but once I plug in the 3rd controller it stopped recognizing it. If I plug into the controller 2 and run the refresh in the Hardware UI it picks up controllers 2 and 3. When I plug into the 1st controller it picks up only the 1st controller. I have swapped out the Cat6 cables. I have checked power. I don't understand what is going on. Anyone have a similar issue?
TheDucks Posted December 4, 2021 Posted December 4, 2021 First Q: are all the LOR ID's unique? (also assumes Dumb RGB or AC controllers) Q2: are all ELOR capable (Gen3 AC, RGB) You might list the models and FW level Q3: you have a Standard license . So No Pixie 8's allowed (uses 8 ID's)
basis21b Posted December 4, 2021 Posted December 4, 2021 I would also suggest checking the RJ45 sockets on the controller you are referring to as the 1st controller. Make sure they are not pulled away from the board. Also try to look inside the socket to see if any of the wires inside of if are touching. Often times when one gets pulled away from the board the wires cross and communication stops.
