wbaker4
The attached video was recorded last night using a Sony 4K video camera. I decreased the gain to eliminate any wash outs. My question is - look at the LED arch (front middle) An area of darkness flows through both sides of the arch. All LEDs of the arch are on and controlled by one channel (no right/left side). The candy canes in the middle of the arch are incandescent, as are the trees on either side. Is the effect shown on the video the result of perhaps half a wave on the LEDs not working? The effect reminds me of videos of an airplane propeller recorded using an iPhone. Thanks in advance! Merry Christmas!
PhilMassey
Does the camera have a 50 or 60 hz filter you can turn on or off. Probably deep in the settings.
TheDucks
I was going to guess Frame and Scan rate artifact. LOR turns things on and off to dim (PWM), The Off part just lines up with some place in the scam Edited November 29, 2021 by TheDucks changed Frame to scan
