RGB Prop config DMX question.

If I have 4 props.

all 200 nodes. Each.

total of 800 nodes….

4 ports.

PORT 1 is

Universe 1, start channel 1, end channel 510, carry over 90

port 2 is 

universe 2, start channel 91, end channel 510, carry over 180

port 3 is

universe 3, start channel 181, end channel 510, carry over 270

port 4 is

universe 4, start channel 271, end channel 510, carry over 360…

 

I am only getting 80 nodes lit up on my 4th prop….

why is this? or what else could this be?

 

prop in test mode works fine.

You haven't assigned Universe 5 for the carryover. 510 -271=239 Channels in universe 4 or the first 80 pixels, you need to assign the carryover.

Okay. I understand that part now…

that makes perfect sense…

How would I assign the carry over if there is no other output to assign it to?

Go into Network Preferences and make sure Universe 5 has an assigned ip address. What controller are you using?

This is a non LOR controller.

An advatek pixlite 4

universe 5 was not assigned.

I am going outside to try it again in a bit.
