TIP: Red dotted timing marks while playing a sequence

I was sequencing a song the other day and found that while playing the sequence if you press the down or up arrows on your keyboard you will place a Temporary red dotted marker down through your channels.  I found this to be incredibly helpful in lining up timing.  If you press down first then up you can get 2 marks.  This is useful if you want to mark a particular instrument or sound or start and stop to a sequence.  I am sure there are lost of details that are not on any videos or anything like that.  Since i am new to this I do not yet have a rhythm. i would like in the future to be able to have more of those markers.  i would like to be able to play a segment and put more than a few marks.  Perhaps someone has some things that we can do while we are playing the sequence.

That is good to know, thanks for sharing. I stare at the timing mark until I can get an arrow or edit tool on it or play it 4,5,6 times..... LOL

you can even drag in the yellow time bar to get those marks
