Music delays

What would cause a 3 second delay between the lights and music. It only happens when the show plays.

Are you noticing the delay on your car radio? Some cars have a built in delay. There is nothing wrong with the radio transmitter or your show, just certain cars seem to build in a buffer for the radio signal.

This is becoming a bigger problem with a lot of newer cars - especially high end ones.  Check the owners manual for a way to disable that.  It is often called something like "Drive in theater mode".

No not fm broadcast. this is through the laptop speakers

Are you talking about the music being 3 seconds behind or a lag between songs. Is it EVERY sequence.

To add another question, is it 3 seconds exactly, or does the length of delay change during the song?

the lights stat running before the music starts

its closer to 2 seconds but its always the same. I noticed last night, its only happening on the sequenses made this year with s5. Last years made with s4 work fine

Do you have any kind of background or startup sequences on your show.

What does the status window of control panel say when the bad songs start.
