Can one Deluxe controller control several regular controllers? If yes is there any advantages to getting all deluxe controllers?

I prefer the deluxe controllers. The handle more power, have the Unit ID dials that make them easier to use, and have firmware upgradability that will allow for new lighting effect to be added in the future.

will the standard kit have the ability to upgrade firmware in the field,

i thought the only difference was the speed control, unit id's, and ability to operate standalone?

can you correct me on this?

Hi Bob,

You are correct ( I am corrected )... The standard CTB16K does have firmware upgrade like the CTB16K Deluxe. ( Only the standard CTB08 does not have firmware upgrade capability ).
