NameInLights00
Hello Forum, Im super excited about LOR, but an absolute Newbie.....Really hoping someone in this group can drop some quick wisdom on me. My set up is this: Windows 10 --> LOR (v5.3.14 Basic) --> USBRS485 --> Pixie16D (V1-06) --> CTB16Pg3 (V1_11) The issues is this: Using the LOR Hardware, it recognizes the two controllers. I have the Pixie set as Unit ID 1, and the CTB set as Unit ID 2. I have RGB WS2811 strips plugged into ports 1 & 2 (100 Pixels each) on the Pixie. I have Incandescent string light plugged into Ports 1,2,5 on the CTB. When test the Pixie (All ports, Port 1, or Port 2) color red at 100%, were good; the RGB WS2811 glow red. But, when Test the Pixie (All ports or Port 2) color Green at 100%, the lights on the CTB also turn on. Any suggestions?
Don
Pixie 16 will use 16 ID's Pixie 8, 8 ID's, Pixie 4, 4 ID's, etc. You need to adjust your addressing.
Mr. P
Pixie16 will use IDs 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 0A, 0B, 0C, 0D, 0E, 0F, 10, The next ID available for your CTB16 is 11. A Basic license that shows in your profile will not run these two controllers, you will need a Pro license.

Your basic license only allows 4 ac controllers. Your pixie16 counts as technically 16 since it uses 16 unit id's (one for each port/strip) Upgrade the license then read the manual on the pixie. They recommend you give it a much higher unit id number. Do not start at unit id 1. Edited November 23, 2020 by GriswoldStyle
