wensteve
Once you Export as Protected, can you reverse that? My preview design will not load in any new sequence now that I have done this.
Crimson Lane Lights Etown
Your original .loredit file is still there. The software has created a second file that is protected. I don't use protected files anymore. I do compress files so they load faster.
wensteve
Ok. How do I change the file for the preview in the sequencer though?
Crimson Lane Lights Etown
Where are your .loredit files kept? Look in there and open that one not the .lorprot file that was created when you exported as protected. Both files are now in where you store your sequences. Crimson Lane Lights Etown
by the way, did you fix your 100 pixel problem? I see you are 5.5.6 now.

I did, I just deleted the prop and then added it as a new prop. I am still unsure what the problem was though but at least now it works.
wensteve
I don't see a file with that ending...maybe this isn't the problem. Would there be another reason why I can't open a Preview?

My preview design will not load in any new sequence now that I have done this. I'm a little confused about this. Export as Protected in S5 will protect the sequencing, but not the Preview. You can change to any preview you want in a Protected sequence. Nothing about exporting a sequence as protected would affect your preview. You should be able to create new sequences with that same preview. What error message are you getting, and when exactly are you getting it? There is a problem with this preview and it cannot be edited.
Don
Open the Sequencer then without a sequence open go to the Preview tab and see if you can open it there. You may have only one preview there, or more, depending on your setup. See if you have the ability to edit it there. If not, then you'll probably want to go back to that preview tab, export the preview and open a help desk ticket to see what they say.
