I wonder if they did that the same way the "floating" image works, i.e. the tv set laying on its back, projecting the image onto a large enough piece of plexiglass leaned on an angle from bottom of tv to window. The dvd has the video formated for both front and rear projection in case your projector does not have a feature to flip it because the dvd does have some text included in it.
