switching from s3 to s4

what should i do when switching sequences to  sequence editor;  also what about the songs any information would be helpful thank you

As I recall, and it's been a long time, you just open your sequences in the new version. No converting, but the sequences may not be backward compatible once you change and save then in S4. Backup your originals, but you were doing that anyway, right.

The fundamentals in S4 are basically the same, but with a lot more bells and whistles to play with.

Pixel editor is a bit quirky and I could never get much out of it though 

S5 is a much bigger step, so don't do that this late in the year.
