Dumb RGB colors

I have tried searching maybe my search terms werent good enough but i could not find what i needed. Ok so  i can obviously figure out how to get red, green, and blue. But how do i program on S5 with a cmb24d controller other colors like  different shades of orange or purple for example. i know i can use basic blue on and green on at the same time to get a different color but how do i shade them on get different amount of blue or green mix? hope i am making sense.

If I am understanding your question, use the color picker.

If your looking for a specific color, use a RGB Color chart for the color code. Here is an example page with color codes.

In addition a rough color RGB entry  to the slider, just click on/near  the color  (the cross hairs is the current. it moves), then fine tune. This is the standard Windows UI color chooser (used in many apps)
