JohnnySOX
I have tried to import several clips into the S5 Effects generator with no success. I always get a message saying "unable to read frames from this file." Can anyone help guide me through getting a avi video file into light o rama? THANKS! k6ccc
What are you trying to accomplish? Loading an AVI into the effects generator does not compute.
default
Your probably going about it the right way, your .avi file is more than likely the problem. If you can convert it to wmv, try that. If you do convert it, remove the sound, since it won't be used and will make the .wmv file smaller. Also consider making it a .gif file. If you have no way to convert it, send me a pm. I have the programs to convert. Alan...
JohnnySOX
Thanks Alan. I will give that a try and let you know how it goes?
default
If you do decide to convert your .avi to .gif, you will then need to import it into the motion effects generator as a Picture. I remember seeing the requiements for an .avi file (the way it needs to be rendered) but I couldn't find it after a quick search. Generally a .gif file serves purpose well.. Alan... JohnnySOX
Converting to an .WMV worked. Thanks for the advice.
