Sequence from HolidaySequences.com will not run

Good morning all:

I am running this purchased sequence on the latest LOR software for 16 CCR on a PIXIE 16D - V2. Clicking on the .lms file launches the LOR Sequence Editor v4.3.24 Pro. When I click "play" nothing happens on my tree except for a couple of pixels at the base of channel one flickering.  Everything else is dead.  Any help would be greatly appreciate.

Sounds like you haven't configured your pixie16.

You have to copy paste their LMS into your channel config for your pixie unless you have the exact same config as HS. (highly doubted). Its just not plug and play. Find my thread entitled "Pixie Configuration Advice and Tips" for info.

Thank dibblrjr for the information.  What specifically are the steps for  copying and pasting the LMS into your channel config for your pixie?

Thank you.

First you have to configure the pixie.

What other controllers are you running? What are their model #'s and Unit ID's? We will start there.

PM me a # and a good time to call. Depending on your computer skilz may take 30 mins depending on what else you have. If your pixie is all wont take long.

I'm pretty busy, mother natures snow storm wiped out my mega tree (star) for the 2nd time in less than a week. This is AL went from 80 to 20 in 2 days. We will have 4 seasons in 4 days. But I will attempt to call you while I work on props.

just open the sequence in the sequence editor.

than tools/channel configuration.

here you see the channels , you must put the correct network , unit and circuit matching your pixie 16.

I think there’s a little more to it than that!

You can set that as you mention all day long but until you configure it in HU it still won’t work.

You also fail to mention dip switch settings where applicable along with figuring out what other controllers are at play.

While that may be useful or not to someone that understands their way around LOR the OP may not be as advanced as you.

BTW- circuits actually do not come in play while setting up the pixies it assigns 16 consecutive unit IDs. All the OP has to do is “properly” select the first unit ID.

We need to configure your pixie for you. That is HS configuration.

Its to late tonight, I tried to call you earlier but got your VM and left message. You should have my # on CID. Shoot me a text before calling me anytime after 8 am tomorrow. Just to ensure I am avail.

If you only have the one controller and you have everything ready it wont take long.
