S2 show editor question

Lemme ask a question about running a show in S2 from a PC.

I don't want to leave a PC running 24/7. I know, many people do, but if I have the option, I'd rather have my PC self-boot prior to showtime, and turn off after the end of the show. This I can do.

What I want to know is if I place LORs show editor in the startup sequence of the PC, can the show editor load the show and begin running the show without my having to click on it and/or physically load the show? The showtime will be around 6pm, and I don't get home until after 7pm.

You do not need to place the show editor in the startup folder. What you need to do is the following:

1) Use the show editor to create your show using your sequences.
2) Use the schedule editor to schedule when you show will run.
3) Open the LOR Control panel. This will place an icon in the system tray that looks like a light bulb.
4) Right-click the light bulb and make sure you choose "Enable Shows" and "Launch At Startup".

Now whenever the PC is booted LOR will automatically load and run your show based on the schedule you setup.

I hope this helps.
