Brian Mitchell
Members of my class have been working on a float for our 30th reunion for a parade. Here are some pictures of the progress. This may be the last time they put me in charge of the float committee.http://imsirius2.multiply.com/photos...Float_Building
Denny
That's going to be one BIG float! Looks great, but I think you are right -- they won't be putting you in charge of another float for fear the next one might be a 1/2 scale aircraft carrier! Brian Mitchell
We have a 48ft flatbed trailer to build on. Along with the three main pieces we will have Starwars music playing and Vader, Luke and Leah characters. Also many of us have gone and bought lightsabers from Walmart to wave around. I imagine there will be at least 30 of us on the float with others walking and handing out candy. I'm going to try to get video and more pictures. Brian Mitchell
If anyone is interested, I posted a video of our parade and float. Our float isn't till near the end.http://imsirius2.multiply.com/video/item/25/2008_Alumni_ParadeI gotta admit we had a great time in the parade. The crowd went crazy for our float, screaming and cheering all along the parade route. I wish someone had brought a camcorder along on the float. It was wild.
