EmmienLightFan
I had this working last year but I forgot how Unit IDs work on LOR controllers running in DMX mode. Is unit ID 1 channels 1-16, then unit ID 2 channels 17-32 What happens with a controller with 24 channels?
Dennis Cherry
Unit #3 starts at 64-72. You leave 56-63 open or can be used on an 8 channel controller or device.

Unit ID 3 is DMX channels 33-48, Unit ID 4 is DMX channels 49-64. Presumably an eight channel controller would use the same scheme except it would only use the first eight channels of the block instead of 16. I say presumably, because the CTB08 manual does not mention it. Sorry, what Dennis said is wrong. On 9/10/2017 at 7:52 AM, EmmienLightFan said: What happens with a controller with 24 channels? Looking at the manual for the CMB24D, the address sets the starting DMX channel number. There are enough DIP switch positions to be able to set any DMX channel ID from 1 to 511. So if you wanted the first DMX channel of a CMB24D to be DMX channel 313 for example, you would set the DIP switches to: 1 0011 1001. That would make that CMB24D respond to DMX channel ID 313-336. That starts on page 20 of the CMB24D manual. The manuals are available from: http://www1.lightorama.com/documentation/
