Using the sequence editor to open up a back up file

Maybe the actual file extension is hidden. I believe Windows defaults to hiding certain extensions. The backup file should actually appear to have a double file extension like MySequence.lms.bak .

To show all file extensions:
1. Open Folder Options by clicking the Start button, clicking Control Panel, clicking Appearance and Personalization, and then clicking Folder Options.
2. Click the View tab, and then, under Advanced settings, clear the Hide extensions for known file types check box, and then click OK.
