Dcroc Posted February 24, 2017 Posted February 24, 2017 I imagine this question isn't very popular among the Admins, here, but.... Are there other brands of AC controllers that will work with LOR? I am seriously happy with my LOR controllers, and really have no interest in muddying up the chain by adding 3rd party AC controllers. However, I have heard mention of LOR's program to take other manufactures controllers in trade for new LOR controllers. I have done some searching, but other than Mr. Christmas type stuff, I can't find any real AC controllers that are similar to LOR. What am I missing?
TheDucks Posted February 24, 2017 Posted February 24, 2017 http://www.lightorama.com/help/x10_controllers.htm Appears to be very limited, but it might be handy if you are RGB universe and need just a few ON- OFF <bulb> includes controlling (turn it off during a Show) your normal Yard lighting (if it is X10)
Ebuechner Posted February 24, 2017 Posted February 24, 2017 I myself use Renard plus 32 controllers. I can get 32 channels in a smaller package then the Lor controller for about $100. Downside is this only comes in a kit and you need to know how to program it. There are quite a few other AC controllers on the market as well.
basis21b Posted February 25, 2017 Posted February 25, 2017 There was a vendor - D-Light - that sold a line of controllers that would work with the LOR protocol.
