Pixie8 for 16 x 50 mega tree

I would like to build a 16x50 tree

Will a pixie 8 work for this Was thinking 50 pixels up 50 pixels down x 8 that will give 16 stripes of 50 is this correct Are am I thinking about this all wrong

Do I need 5v are 12v for this

Yep, that will work. You can do it with either 5 or 12 volts. There are advantages and disadvantages to each.
