Newbie Software to Hardware Help

So, yesterday i decided to buy the diy controller after successfully sequencing a show in vixen Now, putting together the board, thats all easy stuff, ive soldered tesla coils, mini controllers etc. Its the software to hardware part. Now to my understanding, to run a LOR controller (i bought the DIY Residential 16 channel controller.) with Vixen Lights you must set it to DMX mode. How would i go about all of this? Do i still need a LOR dongle? Is there any more hardware i would need? Best of all, is there a newbie guide on how to do this? I have until monday when my controller should come in, and then about a day to build.

If anyone can help me at all how to set this up it would be greatly appreciated!
