dibblejr
it plugs into fm transmitter spot. So you will lose that option. I tried a splitter but it didn't work. Leave fm transmitter connected and i find it best to just use a radio if I want to listen or when the kids come up that way cars can still listen.

Entropy
I have my computer headphone jack to FM transmitter. Then I have my garage stereo tuned to my FM frequency and wired to remote speakers out near the sidewalk. I also have my "B" speakers in the garage so that I can hear exactly what's being transmitted without running outside. If the FM is garbled or off, I'll know.
