Duplicate Channel

Is there a way to duplicate a channel and have it linked to another channel? I want to have a beat channel and only place timings on one channel and have it show up in 2 other locations on my sequence.

I'm not sure if this is what you are talking about but I create a beat channel with markings and then copy that channel (usually every 16 channels). If you insert a new channel where you would like and then copy are marks from your original beat channel to the new channel you will now have 2 beat channels in two different locations.

You can duplicate a channel to another track, but not within the same track.

Its timings will not be duplicated, but the events in it will. So, for example, if you have timings in the first track every half a second, and you use those timings to turn it on from 3 seconds to 3.5 seconds, it will show up as "on" in both tracks from 3 to 3.5, even though the second track might not have timings at 3 or 3.5.

To do this, right-click on the channel's button, and select one of the options from "Copy to Other Track" from the popup menu.
