triac opto-isolator

I receiver my new CTB16K .I lost one MOC3023. How????.So I went to electronics store to buy another one .They did not have MOC3023 (400V triac opto-isolator) they look in book for replacement they say it will be same one (NTE3048) the description small difference .Do you think I should get same one or replacement will be ok.

I just phoned Dan and they were sent out next day, I also asked for a couple of spares for "UTS" inventory. Cost for parts was less than the shipping to Canada. "UTS"= User to stupid :), I ran the channel on a lamp that had a short. If I can do it once! Hence the UTS spares.

It does not look like a good replacement.

With LOR, if you loose a part, if your dog eats a part :shock: or if you break a part during assembly, you can just email kits@lightorama.com and tell them you need the part. They will send it to you.
