tjflory
Greetings. Someone posted a video of part of my show online, but it was speed up a bit... it was cool! I would like to do the same in my show.. How do I speed up the play speed of an existing sequence in my show? Thanks! Don
Unless the software has a new feature I've missed, you don't just select an option to speed up a sequence. If it's animation only, and you are using standalone, then you could (at least on the older boards) control the speed setting there on the board. (Haven't looked at the new ones.) If it's a musical sequence then you'd be looking at re-sampling the music to make it faster, and hoping you can simply copy/paste the sequencing from the long version to the short version. EmmienLightFan
Audacity can let you speed up the audio, then copy and use paste to fit. It should line up perfectly if you have not changed anything. Another way would be to change the cell size by the percentage you sped it up, and use paste by cell.
George Simmons
After you've changed the audio file and used it to create a new musical sequence: 1. Go to the existing sequence, select from the moment the song begins through the end of the music. (NOT to the end of the sequence, just to the end of the music.) 2. Copy all sequencing. 3. Set the paste option to Stretch to Fit. 4. Go to new sequence, select from the beginning of the music to the end of the music, and then paste. That should align perfectly the existing sequencing with the new music.
